Rain drops falling pitter-patter titter-tatter,
The sound of our souls dancing all the way through.
Every year the clouds play and give us joy,
This year seems more joyful than others.
The rains seem to be drunk and swaying over,
Lashing through the rivers and roads.
Rain drops fall like bells chiming around,
To awake us from our deep slumber.
When the clouds cover the sun so bright,
The rain pours through the grassy lands.
The leaves turn so green and the brown earth looks so young,
Never so happy before it had been.
Sounds of delight and ecstasy,
Such is the wonder of rains.
Nature turns fresh and anew,
Washing away all our pains.
