Personification is a key technique to use in the descriptions of your novels.
Why?
This is because the people reading your book are, well, people! They have human emotions, and most of all, they relate to human emotions.
By giving an inanimate object just as a book, a plant, a car or anything else human attributes, you resonate with the reader. Think of how the movie Cars has made grown adults cry!
So how do I use it?
Well, we have an activity for you to kickstart your love for personification, and to help you master the art! It is a quick 5 minute exercise to get your creative brain juices flowing! Click here to view it.
