My heart says,
I want to envelop you,
Protect you, from evil eyes,
Lest they corrupt you.

My heart says,
Together we are a force,
We will fight, all the woes,
Of life and its vagaries.

My heart says,
We shall overcome,
All that is stopping us,
From being unstoppable.

My heart says,
We’ve already shed grief,
Like that old tree in the courtyard,
Which shed its leaves in autumn.

My heart says,
We have nothing to lose,
From here it’s joy in varied hues,
Just like spring in full bloom.

My heart says,
Yes my son, our togetherness,
Is an autumn sunburst,
For all seasons.
