“Sahil …Please fetch me bucket from the balcony” called Sonia

“No,I won’t…I won’t go out” replied Sahil timidly.

“What is this Sahil…Modiji has asked to stay home…Not to stay in room..You won’t b infected if you go to balcony…”

“I don’t want to die…Just leave me..Go” yelled back Sahil….28 years…Dynamic personality…Gold medalist in Economics…But a coward by heart…Trapped in ‘CORONAPHOBHIA’

After two weeks inside his room…Standing at the window he saw a couple down the street…With a little girl…Crying
Both tried to calm her….Giving her water again and again….
But she kept crying…
“What could be the
reason…..Crying for such a long time….But why am I thinking about this?”…thought Sahil while lying on the bed…

Not able to sleep…He went to window again….”it’s been more than 2 hours…She is wailing…..Must be hungry…Then why they are not giving her something to eat…”

“Oh!Now I understood…But what to do?” Questioned Sahil to himself.
The sound of her cries ripped his heart.

“Sahil….Get up..It’s already 8…Sahil…Where are you?”dumbstrucked Sonia started looking for him….But found him nowhere..
“He never stepped out of his room….Oh God…Where is he?”…She went to balcony and was surprised to see Sahil on the street giving something to a girl child.

“Are you fine….Not scared standing on road” asked Sonia smiling.

Sahil removed his mask ,” Yes,I am fine… never felt so good before…This little girl’s wailing due to hunger….Her parents helplessness…Compelled me to step out…I overcame my fear…
Today I realized that it’s our helping hands that makes us human…..Come let’s go..There are many more people who are hungry ….Come let’s help them.”
Sonia was in tears…Tears of happiness….She was standing with her husband…her man…..A real man now.
