Recipe Baked Sabudana Vada

Recipe for Baked Sabudana Vada for around 10-12 vadas

– 2 cups sabudana
– 2 boiled potatoes
– green chillies finely chopped
– 1/2 cup peanuts (roasted and coarsely crushed)
– jeera
– salt to taste
– pinch of sugar
– curry leaves
– coriander leaves
– lemon juice

Soak sabudana for 1hour and strain the water and keep aside for atleast half an hour.
Now mix sabudana and mashed potatoes well and add all the ingredients an make flat cakes. Make sure the vadas are flat so it can cook well inside.

Now preheat the oven in 200 degrees and keep ready.

Brush oil on the tin tray and put around 6 vadas at a time and heat at 200 degrees for about 10 mins and flip the vadas and repeat. It should be crisp and ready. If you need crispier then flip again and repeat the process for 5mins each.

Serve with sugared curd or coconut chutney or green chutney.
