Ever watched a ball being thrown….a stone been hurdled in the still waters…the sound waves being created, when one shouts in an echo chamber…that’s exactly what Karma is…

They say whatever goes around comes around…true, but no-one says, it may come back in linear ways or in ripple effects…most likely than not, it’s always in ripple effects…for we are energy beings and energy frequencies always travel in waves…exactly like the ripples created in still waters, or like those of the sound waves…and since they travel like those very waves…

The Beauty and the blessings or the Damage and the disasters caused are equally collateral…for these frequencies rarely ever travel in linear ways….and our history has enough foolproof historical shreds of evidences to state the very obvious…

• Look at the World Wars…started by few, propagated by few others, fought by many, suffered by a whole lot more though generations, financially, economically, physically, emotionally, mentally…to the extent that even 50 years later… 5 generations later …many felt themselves being gripped by diseases like cancer, leukaemia, parathyroid hyper-function, cataracts or myocardial infarction and much more due to the radiations one was exposed to…and it’s not only the ones who suffer the disease who are traumatised by the pain…the ones who take care, are equally traumatised not only physically, mentally, emotionally and financially, but also are pained to see their own traumatised.
• Global Warming, the increasing temperatures, the burning of our forests, the shortage of drinking water, the flooding of our lands… of our sewage system… Is it an outcome of a couple of years, or even half a decade, has it not been happening on a very unconscious level through generations…has every generation not been feeling the implications, in ways more profound than ever ??? Have we all not been complaining of the rising temperatures…has every generation not reflected back and said, “It never used to be like so, when we went to school or even 15 years back”…a few decide that for economic development, industries are much needed…implying that trees, forests and Life in the wilderness has to be at the back burner…and the idea is propagated and propelled…it’s nothing more than cause and effect of decisions taken by few/many or not taken by few/many…with ripple effects spanning generations…
• The Nations that were under the British Rule…most still are reeling in the clutches of poverty, Apartheid, Racism, from being labelled as the 3rd world nations, from the clutches of the system that has primarily been corrupt for the most part of their independent history…The effects of one or few individuals decision has the propensity to create and generate an impact, the effects of which are multifold and multi-layered…quite like the layers of the onion…
• Even if we delve into the ancient Indian Scriptures(Ramayan and Mahabharat)…Lord Ram went to the forest because his father had made a certain commitment to one of his wives (who wasn’t even Ram’s mother) and he had passed away without even knowing his son, for the man that Ram had become…unfortunately, history repeated itself, where Ram didn’t get to meet and know his own sons, as well…The decision was taken by a father, the implications were felt by 3 generations if not more…likewise Mahabharata…one of the most ferocious battles, between blood relatives, between brother and uncles and nephews and friends…and yet at the end…the winners (Pandava’s) had lost their family and all their children…and even the lord (Krishna) had died a painful death, where there wasn’t a soul near him, to comfort him…to bid him farewell…The Clash of Ego that was started between 2 brothers had its ripple effect being felt by many, spanning generations…

and those are the Collateral Damages (emotionally, physically, mentally, financially, socially and psychologically)…

…and yet, post the world war, it came as a surprise to me that Adolf Hitler was nominated for the noble peace prize…It is said that the kind of compassion that the world witnessed post the World War was something that had never been witnessed in the history of mankind before…

Time we Care, for history (our stories of our decisions or indecisions will create a cause and its recurring effects) which will be felt by generations… We all have the Free will…but sooner or later, we all sit down and even pass down the banquet of our Consequences.

Time we understood karma and its collective collateral Damages or Blessings…
