Divya Venkateswaran (Category-Poem) (Black Spot | Certificate of Excellence)

I was blackmailed,
By a black monster,
Who knew black magic,
Had a black sheep,

I toiled like a Blacksmith,
In a black, dark room,
Blacklisted as a slave,
Wearing torn black clothing,

I was in a black book,
As a master of black art,
Written with a black ink,
Having a black cover,

People called me black,
Some hailed me as a black witch,
Running down the black path,
Beneath the black sky,

When I woke up in my black room,
It was a black starry night,
And when I opened my black eyes,
Turned on the light,
All I could see was a black spot amidst this white world.
