To my dad
From that little me clinging to your hand,
To always believing that you had a magic wand.
I knew everything would be right,
If you were there in my sight.
I still can’t forget how you took my fractured arm,
Held me tight made me feel warm.
And as you lied on that hospital bed
We were not even sure that accident had left you alive or dead.
You opened your eyes and smiled with those dry lips,
Bruised, bursted and broken ribs.
Gave me your hand just to tell,we should not worry that you are all well
Dad, now that i am a dad,
I often feel really sad,
God did not gave that patience to me,
I try hard if an idol dad i could be,
When i would be all grey,
Would my son feel same way
As you always say, face it all with a great laughter
I will remember this forever
