Give me wings of birds to touch the sky
Let me go to the horizon while I fly high

Make me a ball of clouds so that I wander
Overlooking pastures, meadows beneath and yonder

Give me colors of the rainbow red,blue and green
To every black and white let me add some sheen

Give me that long swishy tail of the kite
Let me sway and swirl while I scale that height

Make me a cuckoo who all the while sings
Set me free and give my passion wings

Make me that raindrop which cleanses the air
Flowing down selflessly with only humility to wear

Oh please give me happiness and a smile to stay all day
My heart plays a melody while its strings are at play
