Beyond the Seventh Firmament
Far from hate,
behind the seventh firmament
according to his picture
God created a unique being.
In the vestibule of angels
where butterflies guard
the beauty of Eden
he froze
the moment of eternity.
Clouds stopped,
the rivers lit up,
the flowers smelled
before the mystery of man,
the mirror of the Divine Being.
A snake for envy
distance the people from their Creator,
and then a man of golden skin
separate from people
to find, through centuries of wanderings,
the threshold of the seventh firmament.
