“Real happiness comes from little things in life”
When my 6 year old daughter who was good at studies, became friends with an academically weak girl, I was worried that she would become like her. I asked my daughter to not be friends with her but she didn’t obey.
One day I complained to her father about the situation. He asked her softly why she wasn’t obeying me. She replied, “Papa, why does mummy think that I’ll become like her. Why doesn’t she think that my friend will become like me?”
This made me ashamed of my narrow-mindedness. My young daughter gave me a new perspective on situations.
