She has borne with all the
shocks and knocks
exerted,
The violent vibrations
made as we work on or
walk over,
Dancing, kicking on her
resilient chest
Never she complains but
silently suffers
She is our beloved
mother,
Our Mother Earth, she is
She has sheltered all of us
on her enormous
expanse,
Humans, animals, trees,
all the living and non living
things,
Mutually being together,
complementary and
supplementary,
As her loving children are
we,
Rears up so affectionately
As she is our beloved
mother,
Our Mother Earth, she is
With the beautiful blue
sky as the roof,
She has housed all of us
on her endless meadows
and wonderful wood
lands,
With fragrant and
colourful flowers soothing
our sorrowful minds,
And fruits satiating our
hunger
Mother of our mothers
and fathers,
Our beloved Mother
Earth, she is
