Are exams a path to success?

I really wonder,

Or are they a test to show the knowledge and ability for a student,

Is it to categorize the students into their capabilities?

Or make their time squander?

I need to ponder.

Are exams a path to success?

I really wonder,

Explaining, judging and emphasising,

It makes me really go bonkers.

Is it just an exposure with regards to academics?

Is it a punishment or an analysis of students’ knowledge?

I need to ponder.

Are exams a path to success?

I really wonder,

Evaluating and highlighting,

Or is it just an important process of learning in our institutions?

Will it help the students’ in this sea of challenging life?

Will their strengths and weaknesses be tapped to help them?

Or is it just a pattern to be imitated and analysed,

I need to ponder.

Are exams a path to success?

I really wonder,

In this examination of life will these examinations help?

Or are they preparing the students’ to tackle their unforeseen future?

I really wonder and need to ponder!
